Artist Statement
Robin Glass is currently developing a body of photographs made throughout the Northeast of the United States, where he is from. Through collaboration with the people closest to him, as well as chance encounters, Glass has been exploring how the camera can become a tool for unwinding life in mostly small towns and natural environments - where tension seems to live between the destructive influence of an ongoing industrialist mental framework, and an always-present prospect of moving toward the spiritual or transcendental.

About the Artist
Robin Glass (b. 2001) is an American artist living and working in New England. Robin's work has been exhibited in several shows throughout the country, including at Filter Space in Chicago, IL, curated by Shana Lopes, PhD, and at The Humid in Athens, Georgia, curated by Irina Rozovsky and Mark Steinmetz, as a closing program for the Georgia Museum of Art's symposium, "Reckonings and Reconstructions: Southern Photography's Past and Futures." His photographs were also selected for and printed in FotoFilmic's JRNL 22, edited by Alessia Glaviano.
