Artist Statement

Milos Anger's practice currently explores his own subconscious through recurring imagery such as cannons, spirits, faces, and the landscapes of his home.  He uses this imagery to examine fear, fascination, joy, and the absurdity of existence, in hopes of breaching into some underlying human truth. Anger began his practice in late 2024 with The 365 Series, a year-long project in which he completed one finished drawing consecutively for 365 days. The series, completeled in late 2025, established the conceptual foundation for his current body of work and marked his transition into painting.
