An agglomeration of objects on a wax pedestal made in response to Harrison Wayne’s trophies and "The Fool" photograph in our show, 'and I hope to see you", at Stove Works in March 2025. Found objects: mahogany handrail, metal, rubber, shells, frog leg, ceramics, graphite, frog leg, tar paper, bone photo by artist
pit, 2025. 48” x 72” x 1”

An iron casting of objects embedded in "Pit", the wax soaked bath towel work. once bitten, 2023. 15" x 4" x 4"
This is part of a series of rosaries, 6 so far, that I have been working on. A clear marble and bead chain nestle between a curl of ocean-worn leather dangling from braided rubber tube coiled around a chair rung mounted with a single x-acto blade protruding from the wall. Leather, wood, plastic tubing, dog chain tag, marble photo by artist
nonesuch (angel on the head of a pin), 2022., 2.5" x .5" x .5"
Atop a nail that juts from the wall is a minuscule cockle shell. The void left by its soft clam body is filled with steel epoxy putty. It holds a single styrofoam pearl between wiry tufts of steel wool. This was the first work using the framework of angels to consider bivalves in my practice. Part of my thesis show, Dregs, at the Anderson Gallery in Richmond, 2022. Cockle Shell, J.B. Work Ahead, 2022. 66" x 42" x 48"
A discarded road work sign wrapped in rusted steel wool with a repurposed limb from a blighted tree stands in the way through the gallery.
